When the world shut down in 2020, we had no idea when we would be able to get together again. Finally, after nearly three years, WordCamp US is back in person and better than ever. On September 9-11, WordPressers from all over the world will arrive in San Diego to learn, network, and connect in person. If you’ve never attended a WordCamp in person, it can be a little intimidating, but we are Torque are seasoned pros and have some tips and tricks to make sure you have the best experience possible. General WordCamp Advice First, let’s dive into some general advice that applies to any event. Bring a water bottle: You will be walking a lot and might not be able to get to a drinking fountain.Bring chargers: Even if you intend to spend your time mostly networking, you will be on your phone or computer constantly. Make sure you bring your computer and phone charger to the venue so you don’t have to waste time running back to your room.
