Here it is: the second release candidate (RC2) for WordPress 6.2 is ready! WordPress 6.2 is scheduled for release on March 28, 2023—which is only two weeks away. Now is your perfect opportunity if you haven’t tried it out yet. Your feedback and help filing bug reports are what keep the WordPress experience stable, smooth, and delightful. It’s important work and a great way to contribute to the project. Thanks to everyone who tested the Beta and RC releases so far. Since RC1 was released on March 9, there have been about 36 issues resolved in Trac and GitHub. How to install RC2 for testing This version of the WordPress software is under development. Please do not install, run, or test this version of WordPress on production or mission-critical websites.
